Heliotrope Journey Pilot Episode 4: The Heir of Drăculești

Professor Coraline Onionhead has been conducting research on the Scholomance since she first held her post as leader of the resistance. While Treyton had faced grave perils in the Leafgroove Mountains and the Anura Duchy in addition to braving an invasion that threatened the city of Norsdale, the young archivist had spent night and day reading journal after journal written by chroniclers that were rumored to have encountered a Solomonari and lived to tell the tale. Believing there was a connection between this classification of wizards and Vlad Dracula Tepes, she interviewed most living legendary vampire hunters that fought the Dark Lord in the days of their youth regarding the spells that he used in combat. After her sessions were complete, she knew that the evidence that their mortal enemy is a solomonari was crystal clear, however, she came across a hideous surprise when she compiled her notes. A solomonari’s powerful khopesh that predates ancient Greece was rumored to have been spotted in the icy remains of Americus civilization and what’s more; the Veiled Nocturne is focusing its attention on claiming it with the hope of holding onto it until their master’s unlikely resurrection. Refusing to delay, Professor Onionhead quickly enlists Treyton and co. to travel with her to this land of despair. There, she will rendezvous with a colleague that the young boy will recognize from his past and seek out the light in the dark. Treyton has not been left without mixed feelings about the quest for he is concerned that the cult has already claimed the weapon and is using it as bait to capture him, but there is no proof that it is what they’re planning. Not yet. He’ll never know if he doesn’t find out on his own, but regardless of whether the khopesh is in the hands of the enemy or not, will he be able to leave the frozen Americus alive and well?
